Summary: (P-TECH) Planning Grant- ($197,245) The purpose of the Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) and Industry Cluster Innovative Academies (ICIA) is to provide students with a smooth transitional experience to postsecondary and the workforce. P-TECH and ICIA models allow students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma while simultaneously earning industry certifications, level 1 or level 2 certificates, and/or an associate degree on or before the sixth anniversary of a student's first day of high school and at no cost to the student.

Safety and Security Grant- ($254,495) The purpose of the Safety and Security Grant is to provide supplemental grant funding to Texas public Schools, for additional safety and security equipment.

Special Education Fiscal Support Grant- ($338,000) Special Education Fiscal Support provides additional funding for eligible Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to secure evaluation staff, related services personnel, and/or special education teachers to fill short-term needs in the area of initial evaluations, compensatory services and extended school year services (ESY).
